Relics: Mammoth Femur

Art objectFeatured
$41,180

The body is a genuine mammoth femur, more than ten thousand years old. Stabilising and restoring the bone took three months of hand work before it could carry electronics. Brass fittings, 24 carat gold plating and the largest IN-18 tubes we fit. Made with Andrey Zaykin of Artefactum Gallery: two clocks will come from this single bone, and each will be shaped differently.
