A smalt mosaic laid entirely by hand, after a painting by the Armenian national artist Yeghishe Devasyan. The mountain, the ornament and the colour follow classical Armenian carpet weaving, and the technique is the one Soviet mosaic workshops used. Every panel is set piece by piece, so no two are alike.
